Interactive Microlearning courses is the first project result of the UPCOMING WOMEN project. It aims at conducting an integral and transversal intervention with low skilled women and in diverse situations of vulnerability and to upskill the support professionals dealing with them. It will address the specific needs of these groups in order to empower and upskilling them to become more globally competente and therefor advance in vulnerable women social and labour inclusion and gender equality. It is based on the OECD PISA global competence framework (2018). It will be adapted to non-formal adult education. The Interactive Microlearning courses are structured around 5 modules, listed below, connecting all the dimensions of global competence plus an introduction.
The aim of the Experimental Workshops is to equip professionals working with low skilled women (social workers, educators, trainers, mentors, counselors and other staff) with a compilation of training material, that aims at the development of the transversal skills, such as critical thinking, creativity, problem solving, adaptability and flexibility, entrepreneurial skills, digital skills. The UPCOMING WOMEN Experimental workshops is a pioneering and innovative product result because: - It addresses the low skilled women and in situations of vulnerability’s specific needs detected. The Experimental workshops will enable a holistic and transversal intervention with the mentioned target as it cover useful skills for women to face their everyday challenge, to improve their employability and promote their social inclusion.
